hey qt. losing fat is a three-component process: nutrition, weightlifting, and cardio.
i always say nutrition is the most important. you CANNOT out-exercise a bad diet! your body needs an abundance of un-processed, whole foods; NOT deprivation, NOT diet tricks. As for cardio and weightlifting, I say focus on both. I do a 20-30 minute cardio warmup before a strength training routine OR i do cardio acceleration during my strength training routine (meaning that I do 1 minute of cardio such as running in place, jumping rope, squat jumps, etc in between EACH set).
as for what to wear to the gym, you can find long-sleeve athletic shirts! make sure you’re wearing shorts then so that you don’t get uncomfortable hot.
